4.2.3 Improved Dataset Visualisation and Data Mining

Relationships observed in the experiment (Section 3.1) suggested that the more sophisticated the visualisation techniques, the better the results of the human's fuzzy rules. As such, it is anticipated that the visualisation of the data set is the key to allowing the human to properly ``digest'' the information contained in the underlying structure of the data. An experiment to test this would involve several artificially constructed datasets, each with the same number of instances, attributes and so on, but each generated from different rules of equal complexity. A human would then apply several visualisations of varying complexity to these different datasets and observe the resulting performances.
