The dataset used in this visualisation project is of Australian meteorological data. It was obtained from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology with the help of Wei Wang from Sydney Vislab. The data has been generated from a model developed at the Bureau of Meteorology, however, it is likely that the origin of at least some of the data is based in measurements of the real system.
